Houses may be visited in any order once you have a ticket. 

Please wear flat walking shoes.

No cell phone or camera use in tour homes.

Children 17 or younger must be accompanied by a responsible adult at all times.

These properties are not handicapped-accessible.

Garden Club of Virginia and The Garden Club of the Eastern Shore and participating homeowners are not responsible for accidents occurring on the tour.

Tour Proceeds

Historic Garden Week proceeds are used by Garden Club of Virginia for the restoration and preservation of Virginia’s historic gardens and state parks.


Parking is available at Eyre Hall and neighborhood parking is available in the Onancock tour area. Continuous free shuttle service is available on the Onancock tour route.

Lunch Options

Tour Bag Lunch by Mallards - $10

  • Pre-order your lunch online by May 3, or

  • Call Mallards at (757) 787-7321 by May 3.

  • Pick up your lunch from 11am - 2pm at Ker Place.

  • Lunch includes “The Clerk” Cafe Sandwich (turkey, muenster cheese, alfalfa sprouts, tomato, cranberry mayo on a soft wheat roll), kettle chips, brownie, bottled water.

sit-down lunch by church - $10

  • Walk-in or pre-order. Pay cash on day of tour.

  • Lunch is 11am - 1pm at Market Street United Methodist Church, 75 Market St, Onancock. Tables will be set up at Market Street UMC and also next door at Ker Place.

  • Lunch includes BBQ chicken (leg quarter), potato salad, green peas salad, tea/water.
